Hey Dude!

Your comment made me pause and wonder if possibly I was wrong. I did some quick research and I think I'm still good to go with recommending a travel mug.

Check out the TSA website here:
http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm#10

It lists things you can and can't take on a plane. I would think if you can take some of the items listed there, you can take a plain old travel mug.

Just to be safe, though, I'd ask the airline when I bought my ticket.

Thanks for stopping by!

Superb Green Travel Tips, and thanks for the mention!

I didn't realize that much fuel was needed for just one "airplane flush". LOL @ the phobia of getting sucked in. It is quite a powerful flush!

Cheers!

@ Reggae Artists

Wow! That was a great experience! No doubt it was because you left early and weren't in a hurry. I'm sure if you had to get somewhere NOW, it would have taken forEVER. LOL

@Professor

I really really recommend a fully loaded ipod. Much lighter and a book and 6 magazines, and with the right noise cancelling headphones, (I recommend an awesome AND affordable set in my free Travel Secrets Revealed Book when you subscribe to my newsletter), the time will pass quickly without the bother of all those annoying passengers.

Might want to consider a portable DVD player, too, if your ipod doesn't do video.

@Wanderus

No problem! Welcome to Traveltipsdigest! :)

@Jovana

I'm going to have to agree with you one one thing - you're weird! LOL. Just kidding. Airports are a great place to "people watch." I just prefer to do it from the lounge with a drink!

@Forest

OMG, I would totally flip if I ended up at the wrong location. I'm too type "A" for that sort of thing. I guess all's well that ends well!

@Coach -

Actually, Detroit just missed the list at #12. You're not imagining things...they SUCK! LOL

@Forest -

I agree, and luckily, I've managed to avoid the worst one's as well. Boston-Logan is the worst on I've been to and my biggest complaint was NO AIR CONDITIONING! Wassup with that?
