What Is RSS And How Do I Use It?

RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is a way to subscribing to online content like blogs, video and music. Think of it like a magazine subscription, but instead of getting it in the mail - or email - you receive your updates via a blog reader. There are many free blog readers out there. I personally use Googles, but there are others like Bloglines, Newsgator and Snarfer.

What you do is register with one of the Blog Readers and once registered, you can either directly enter the feed address (i.e. http://traveltipsdigest.com/feed/ ) in the appropriate place in your reader or you can click on one of these handy pics you see all over the web:
